Batu Karas beach is famous for its big waves and often used as a surfing arena by the surfers both local and foreign. No wonder, Batu Karas beach is recommended by the surf community as a comfortable surfing arena for surfers, especially for beginners who want to learn to surf.

Batu Karas beach is located not far from Pangandaran Beach and the natural attractions of Green Canyon (Cukang Taneuh) Ciamis. This beach distance from Pangandaran approximately 40 km with travel time about 45 minutes by using private vehicles.
