Wafor Beach Will Be Developed Becomes Tourism Destination and Surfing

Supiori District Tourism Office is committed to focusing the development of Wafor Beach in Kampung Sawarkar, Biak, Papua, as surfing. Supiori District Tourism Office Head Yustus Noach Amsamsyum said Wafor Beach has good waves for surfing, he thinks the waves at Wafor Beach are not inferior to Kuta Beach in Bali, so that in the future this will be a new tourist destination in Papua.

Yustus explained to develop the Wafor Beach area, and it will cooperate with the Provincial Government (Pemprov) Papua. Yustus explained that the beauty of Wafor Beach is not inferior to Raja Ampat, so it should be encouraged to be developed, so that it can better introduce the natural beauty of Papua. In addition to Wafor Beach, Rani Beach also has underwater beauty that has the potential to become a new tourist destination.

Wafor Beach and Rani Beach will be prepared to become a new tourist attraction that can increase the Original Revenue. Yustus added that his party is now building gazebo, cottages and hotels around Wafor Beach and Rani Beach.
